On Thursday, March 12th, at the scheduled Library Board of Trustees Meeting, the board voted to close the Library facility until further notice. All scheduled community meetings, programs and events will be cancelled during this time period.

Effective, March 13th, Emerson Library card holders will not be able to place holds or requests in the BCCLS catalog. Due dates for all Emerson materials will be updated. While the Library is closed, the drop boxes will be locked. Please keep your checked out items at home. All fines will be waived. DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS OUTSIDE. During this period of closure, we remind Emerson cardholders to utilize the eBCCLS service, which will enable you to access thousands of adult and juvenile eBooks, eMagazines and eAudio materials. To access these items, please visit the bccls.org website. Scroll down to the dark blue box, and click on eBCCLS. Updated information will be passed along as soon as received. Thank you for you support and understanding at this time.
